Rated 4 out of 5 by TN experimenter from Low cost with great features I bought 4 of these lights 6 months ago and I use them for power outages in my home. They provide a lot of light from a large battery. They are useful as a flashlight as well as a room light if pointed toward the ceiling. I like these lights better than the lanterns for a room light because the light can be reflected from the ceiling in a more normal fashion. The lanterns are always shining in your face unless placed above your head and they require the light to be reflected from the walls for a good room light. When you consider the low cost they are a great value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Zacc from Unreliable Switch I bought this item earlier today, along with the 40 lumen version. I installed the batteries in both, and this one did not power on. I went through all the orders of operations and concluded the switch is bad. The switch has lots of play in all directions, and after attempting to center it better, it powered the light on. However, the light still flickers persistently, and occasionally shuts off; the switch is still providing a bad connection, as well as dysfunctional, crunchy tactile feedback. For the most part it works, but I cannot trust it to reliably provide light in an emergency, which is the defining attribute of such a light.

I usually have great experiences with Rayovac products and I recommend the items all the time...but I can't recommend this one!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Artisticforge from Poor design This is a poor design. The plastic part which holds the 10 LEDs in place is easily broken even in a drop onto soft ground. The connector which provides the power to the 10 LEDs is poorly solder and easily damaged. Very poor design.
