remington nighttime skin care blog post

Skin care doesn’t have to be complicated for a guy, and that applies to the nighttime routine as well.

We won’t be recommending any serums or toners or special “eye creams”—a Remington man simply doesn’t have time for all that fluff.
So it boils down to this: Make sure your face is clean before you smash it into the pillow at night.
Scroll down for a few more details if you want them. Just keep it simple. Your skin doesn’t need much to get a good night’s sleep.

Take a minute to wash away all the crud that’s collected on your skin throughout the day. Find the type of cleanser that works best for your skin type (dry, normal, or oily) and your environment (humid, arid, etc.). Just be gentle with the scrubbing and choose a cleaner that doesn’t foam up too much—they can strip your skin of natural moisturizers while they’re kicking out the dirt.

Applying a light moisturizer can help your skin look its best. Nighttime is when your skin does most of its healing, so it’s good to have some type of moisture and vitamins spread all over your mug.
Contrary to popular belief, a good nighttime moisturizer will not make you break out with a bunch of pimples. Just use something light that will keep your skin from drying out for the 7-12 hours you sleep at night, and you’ll be fine.

Clean the Sheets

Because you spend so much time in bed (and sometimes you forget to wash before hitting the hay), you should wash your sheets and pillowcases at least a couple times a month.
That will remove the oil and dirt that leached onto the sheets while you slept, and keep your complexion clear so you can take on your day when morning comes.
